چکیده

The objective of this study was to determine the impact different ambient temperatures on egg production and hatching parameters in Japanese quail. Sixteen weeks old male female quail were assigned 10 cages as 1 5 females. Quails housed a poultry yard belonging Faculty Agriculture. reared under 16 hours’ light 8 dark photoperiod. During study, water food freely available ad-libitum. Regularly egging five layer selected their laying performances compared for three when there highest differences average room (22.38 ± 0.21; 23.10 0.04 23.76 0.18°C). Changes weekly mean did not affect weights, mass, laid/hen, weight/hen. Fertility rates also significantly changed (P>0.05). Lower temperature (22.38°C) caused significant reduction hatchability increment embryonic mortality with 23.10°C group. It is possible postulate from data presented here that best lower quail, around 23°C.

This study was undertaken to determine the effects of storage period and egg weight of hatching eggs of Japanese quails on fertility, hatchability results. Eggs were obtained 150 females quails, all at 15 weeks of age. A total of 1942 hatching eggs were separated into 3 groups as light-weight (9.50-10.50 g), medium-weight (10.5111.50 g), and heavy-weight (11.51-12.50 g). Based on storage period...
